3D Print Your Own Bobblehead
Make heads spin and bobble with these 3D printed bobbleheads! Follow a step-by-step tutorial to learn how to create your very own bobblehead. This download includes two different variations of this project: one for beginning / younger designers and one for more advanced designers.
In the Level 1 tutorial, you will use Tinkercad. You will be given 3 different options (C3PO, Darth Vader and Grogu/Baby Yoda) and will learn the steps necessary to take the head and body and make them into a bobblehead.
In the Level 2 tutorial you can take any 3D-printable file (from Thingiverse, created with a 3D scanner or self-designed) and turn it into a bobblehead. The Level 2 tutorial is primarily in Tinkercad but also includes a brief introduction to Meshmixer as you learn how to hollow complex shapes and how to find the center of mass. (Note: The examples use characters from Star Wars, but you could use any characters.)
The download also includes sample files for C3PO, Darth Vader and Grogu in case you want to print one or more of them as examples.
